April 13, 2010: Baseball, apple pie and Kraft Singles will be the chant at Minor League Baseball stadiums nationwide this season — and not just for people who are single — thanks to "Tuesday Night Tickets," a marketing and promotional effort offering admission to watch players hit singles, doubles, triples and home runs.
Every Tuesday night from April 13 through Sept. 7, consumers can take advantage of the "Tuesday Night Tickets" deal at most Minor League Baseball parks by purchasing one ticket and then turning in the wrapper from any Kraft Singles product for a second ticket free. Not all Minor League Baseball parks are participating and the offer is subject to availability at participating parks. (Full details here.)
The Kraft Singles partnership with Minor League Baseball, now in its second season, is being supported with radio and newspaper ads across the country, POP and in-stadium incentives for fans before, during and after the game.
"Since last year's program was such a success, we are excited to team up with Minor League Baseball again this year for another season of family fun at the ballpark," Clayton Wai-Poi, senior brand manager for Kraft Singles, said in a statement. "With the 'Tuesday Night Tickets' deal, families can celebrate some of the season's best traditions, whether it's an outing to a baseball game or hot-off-the-grill cheeseburgers."
