Callaway Golf, Dewar's Mix It Up For Marketing, Charity

May 13, 2009: Callaway Golf has aligned with Dewar's Blended Scotch Whiskies for a national sweepstakes and longest drive charity competition to support the launch of both Callaway’s Big Bertha Diablo Driver and Dewar's 18 Founder’s Reserve. The Dewar's and Callaway Golf Longest Drive Charity Competition events will take place in eight markets; Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Chicago, New York, Boston, Atlanta and Miami. Support includes Internet, POP and onsite activations where golfers can try out the Big Bertha Diablo Driver and consumers of legal drinking age can sample three golf-themed cocktails: the Dewar's Diablo Cocktail, the Callaway Golf Cocktail and the Dewar's 18 Perfect Serve. A winner at each location will win a prize for the charity of their choice. Three grand prize VIP golf experiences include round-trip travel for the winner and a guest to the Callaway facility in Carlsbad, Calif., hotel accommodations, meals, custom Callaway golf clubs professionally fitted by Callaway’s club fitters, a Callaway golf bag and a round of golf with a Callaway-certified instructor.
