Topps Launches WWE Slam, Digital App With Cena, Rock, Flair, '1,000s Of Stars'

July 14, 2016: If John Cena, The Rock, Undertaker, Ric Flair, Seth Rollins, Sasha Banks and Charlotte could all appear together in an event in their prime, it might rival some of the biggest WWE box office attractions ever.

Topps has done what arguably might be the next best thing with the launch of WWE SLAM '16, WWE’s first digital trading card app.

According to Topps, WWE SLAM '16 will "bring thousands of WWE Superstars to life with exclusive digital cards that can be collected and traded with fans worldwide."

The app debuted today and is available to download for free on iOS and Android devices through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
 
“WWE has been an incredible partner with Topps for many years, and we are thrilled to be able to offer WWE fans worldwide a new way to collect their favorite WWE Superstars from today and the past,” Jeremy Strauser, vp and GM for Topps Digital, said in a statement.

“WWE has been at the forefront of pop culture and entertainment for many years and we are excited to add WWE SLAM '16 to the Topps apps portfolio.”

Other Topps apps include UFC Knockout, Star Wars, The Walking Dead, MLB BUNT, NFL Huddle and KICK, encompassing MLS, UEFA, Premier League and other soccer organizations.

In addition to the aforementioned stars, Topps WWE SLAM '16 will feature thousands of digital trading cards of WWE personalities past and present.

New digital cards will be released daily via Topps WWE SLAM '16, with highlights from the Topps cards library and new designs and collections exclusive to the app.

“We are pleased to once again partner with Topps and offer our fans a new way to connect with their favorite WWE Superstars digitally."

In addition, collectors will have a chance to collect a variety of unique cards featuring WWE Superstar memorabilia and autographs.
