Curry No. 30 Is No. 1 In NBA Full-Season Jersey Sales, Lakers Top Team Merch

April 19, 2024: Hitting a lot of three-pointers goes a long way in selling NBA jerseys.
For the second consecutive season and the fifth time in his career since figures were released, Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry No. 30 was the most popular jersey in the NBA.
LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers moved up to No. 2 in season-end jersey sales from No. 3 at mid-season.
The Lakers topped all teams in merchandise sales, followed by the Boston Celtics, Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks.
San Antonio Spurs Victor Wembanyama not only led all rookies but had the fourth most popular jersey and most popular jersey for a rookie since 2015-16.
This past November, the jersey Wembanyama wore in the second half of his NBA debut against the Dallas Mavericks auctioned at Sotheby’s for $760,000.
According to the NBA, Wembanyama reached the highest ranking on the Most Popular Jersey list for a rookie since Kristaps Porziņģis in the 2015-16 season when he was with the New York Knicks (now with the Celtics).
The Spurs are finished in the Top 10 in Team Merchandise sales for the first time since the 2017-18 season.
The lists are based on NBAStore.com sales for the entire 2023-24 season. The NBA did not disclose sales figures.
Ja Morant came in at No. 11 despite missing most of the first half of the season with the Memphis Grizzlies due to a league suspension and then season-ending injury surgery on his right shoulder in early January.
Jalen Brunson of the Knicks moved into the Top 15.
The Bucks, Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers each had two players in the Top 15.
Five of the Top 15 players on the list are international players, led by Wembanyama (France).
That group also includes Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece-Nigeria), Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (Slovenia), 76ers center Joel Embiid (Cameroon) and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (Serbia).
In team merchandise sales, the Chicago Bulls — which did not have a player rank in the Top 15 in jersey sales. — are also in the Top Five.
