ESPN Covering Georgia-TCU CFB Title Game With 30+ Hours Of Programming

January 7, 2023: ESPN said its coverage leading to the College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T would include more than 30 hours of on-site analysis and exclusive live access, including 20 hours of coverage on Jan. 9 beginning with morning news and analysis shows and then dedicated programming beginning at 1 PM (ET).
The CFB title game between Georgia and TCU in SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles, is scheduled for 7:30 PM (ET) on ESPN.
ESPN’s main telecast will headline the MegaCast production with 12 different presentations of the CFP National Championship Game across ESPN platforms.
The MegCast includes Command Center (ESPNU), AT&T 5G Skycast (ESPN News), ESPN Deportes, ESPN Radio, All-22 (ESPN App) and Field Pass with The Pat McAfee Show (ESPN2).
More than 100 microphones will be placed throughout the stadium.
Championship Monday’s extensive studio coverage begins with segments on ABC’s Good Morning America, as well as ESPN’s Get Up, First Take and SportsCenter.
Afternoon programming on ESPN includes College Football Live Built by The Home Depot (1 PM ET), Championship Drive Presented by Mercedes-Benz (2:30 PM ET) and College GameDay Built by The Home Depot (5 PM ET).
Ram Trucks College Football Pregame (7 PM ET) will lead into the College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T.

To celebrate TCU football's pursuit of the national championship, the Horned Frogs are hosting a College Football Playoff National Championship Watch Party inside Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena.
"Doors open one hour before kickoff. The event is free to attend.
"TCU will pass out 5,000 rally towels in the main lobby and have a DJ spin music during the pregame show. The production will then cut to the live game feed."
UGA’s Engagement, Leadership, and Service department said it would be hosting a watch party at Stegeman Coliseum for the College Football Playoff National Championship with "free admission only open to students, faculty, and staff with UGACard.
"Free T-shirts for the first 700 students."
