• Saturday’s Wimbledon Ladies’ Championship on ESPN earned a 2.1 overnight rating, up 27% from a 1.7 in 2017 (Garbine Muguruza vs. Venus Williams).  It was ESPN’s highest since 2015 (2.2 for Serena Williams vs. Muguruza).

• Mitsubishi Motors deal to become title sponsor for college football's (Dec 12 on ABC). The game was presented by in '16, but had no sponsor in '17. Currently played in Sam Boyd Stadium, it will move to the new venue, now under construction, in '20.

NBA Draft Activation Gets Full-Court Press On ESPN, ESPN2, Twitter

June 18, 2018: Deandre Ayton, Luka Doncic, Trae Young, Marvin Bagley III, Jaren Jackson Jr., Mo Bamba and Michael Porter Jr. will soon be members of the fraternity of NBA players, and ESPN plans to not miss any moments of their inductions.

The self-proclaimed ‘Worldwide Leader in Sports: said it plans to double its live coverage of the 2018 NBA Draft Presented By State Farm by producing two unique, simultaneous telecasts on ESPN and ESPN2 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

This is the 16th consecutive year ESPN has televised the NBA Draft.

The “traditional” NBA Draft telecast will air on ESPN and will feature a new commentator lineup, including host Rece Davis, NBA analyst Chauncey Billups and college basketball analyst Jay Bilas, as well as ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

On ESPN 2, The Jump: NBA Draft Special will provide real-time commentary and analysts from Rachel Nichols, Brian Windhorst, Amin Elhassan, Zach Lowe, Dave McMenamin, Tim Legler and Fran Fraschilla.

Both the ESPN and the ESPN2 telecasts are available to stream via the ESPN App.

In addition, the 2018 NBA Draft will also be available on ESPN Radio with audio from the broadcast available on the ESPN App. Marc Kestecher will describe the event with analysts P.J. Carlesimo, Bob Valvano and Kara Lawson.

ESPN will also offer On The Clock live on Twitter, where David Jacoby, Ryen Russillo and Ryan Hollins will provide analysis.

The next installment of Detail, the basketball analysis and film study show from ESPN and Kobe Bryant’s Granity Studios, is expected to be available on ESPN+ in time for the NBA Draft, with a special NBA Draft-focused edition.
