Little League Baseball Safe At Home With Hilton Worldwide Deal

August 19, 2010: Hilton Worldwide has signed a three-year deal to become the official hotel partner of Little League Baseball and Softball.

The partnership coincides with the Little League Baseball World Series in South Williamsport, Pa., Aug. 20-29, 2010. Financial terms were not disclosed.

To support the launch, representatives from Hilton Worldwide will be onsite at the Little League Baseball World Series to promote Hilton Worldwide’s loyalty program, Hilton HHonors, as well as a sweepstakes dangling a grand prize of a five-night stay at any hotel within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of brands. Hilton is expected to have a media buy during telecast of the Little League Baseball World Series, various games of which will air on ESPN, ESPN 2 and ABC.

Hilton also is offering to Little League families, friends and volunteers a 15% discount on stays when booking at any of Hilton Worldwide’s brand’s. For each reservation, a contribution will be made by Hilton Worldwide to support the Little League organization. The offer begins Aug. 20. HHonors.com/LittleLeague

Hilton Worldwide includes Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Hotels, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Home2 Suites by Hilton, and Hilton Grand Vacations.

Other corporate sponsors of Little League Baseball include Allstate, Dick's Sporting Goods, Honda, Kellogg's Frosted Flakes, New Era, Subway and Sunkist.

Among other sports sponsorship deals, Hilton Hotels is an official partner of the U.S. Olympic Committee and has an alliance with Vodafone McLaren Mercedes in Hilton Racing.
