• Through the first two weekends of the NBA Playoffs, national ad spend has reached $135.1 million across league media partners: TNT, ESPN, ESPN 2, ABC and NBA TV, according to iSpot.TV.  That is down from $145 million at the same point a year ago. Leading brands are Burger King (232 spots), Taco Bell (197), Verizon (158), Gatorade (157) and Corona Extra (147).

• NBC Sports said its coverage of the 2018 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs across the networks of NBCUniversal is averaging a Total Audience Delivery of 751,000 viewers through Sunday, the best in four years through the first 12 days of the playoffs. Coverage on NBC is the best since 2015, while cable coverage on NBCSN is the best in six years. Live streaming of the first 12 days of the Stanley Cup Playoffs has set records in all key metrics.

Kobe Bryant Still On Top . . . In International NBA Jersey Sales

June 25, 2012: LeBron James of the champion Miami Heat may be King of the NBA, but Kobe Bryant of the Los Angles Lakers still rules in jersey.

According to the first list of overall international top selling jerseys released by the NBA, Bryant has the most popular NBA jersey in the world.

Among the Top Five, Bryant was followed by Chicago Bulls guard and 2010-11 MVP Derrick Rose, 2011-12 regular season and NBA Finals MVP James, Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard.

The Top Ten also included James' teammate Dwyane Wade, Rajon Rondo of the Celtics, Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin and Kevin Durant of the Western Conference champion Oklahoma City Thunder.

Earlier this year the NBA said that Rose had the most popular jersey based on sales in the U.S.

The list was garnered from sales at adidas locations outside the United States during the 2011-12 NBA season. This was the sixth season adidas has served as the official on-court uniform and apparel provider of the NBA.

In addition to overall worldwide sales, the NBA also announced the top five selling jerseys in key regions: China, Europe and Latin America.

Bryant had the best-selling jersey in each of those regions, followed by Rose in China and Europe and by James in Latin America.

International stars with top selling jerseys included such as Pau Gasol (Spain) of the Lakers, Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki (Germany), San Antonio Spurs Tony Parker (France, and Ricky Rubio (Spain) of the Minnesota Timberwolves, each of whom made the Top 15 in overall global sales.
