Los Angeles FC Partners With Califia Farms For Stadium Wake-Up Call

April 24, 2018: Califia Farms, a plant-based beverage company in Los Angeles, has signed its first sports-marketing partnership, with MLS’ Los Angeles Football Club as the team’s Preferred Coffee.
Califia Farms begins the alliance at the team’s new venue, Banc of California Stadium, which opens April 29 when LAFC hosts the Seattle Sounders.
In the stadium, Califia said it would be serving barista-style coffee drinks made exclusively with plant-based milk; and ready-to-drink dairy-free Cold Brew Coffees such as XX Espresso, Salted Caramel, Nitro Latte and Nitro Mocha. The product will also be served in all VIP suites.
Califia Farms branding will be featured throughout the new stadium via LED signage. The company will also partner with LAFC on upcoming community programming..
Banc of California Stadium, the $350 million, 22,0000-set venue, is the first open-air stadium built in Los Angeles since Dodger Stadium in 1962, according to stadium operators.
Banc of California paid $100 million for 15-year naming rights, according to industry analysts.
Other team partners include Delta, AeroMexico, Heineken, Toyota and YouTubeTV.
