• The NBA London Game 2019 will feature a regular-season game between the Washington Wizards and the New York Knicks in The O2 on Thursday, Jan. 17. Marketing partners include Foot Locker, Gatorade, Nike, SAP and Tissot, with additional partners to be unveiled in the coming months.

• The Denver Broncos home field is getting a temporary name change to Broncos Stadium at Mile High. It had been Sports Authority Field at Mile High, but the national sporting goods retailer, which had been based in Englewood, Col., ceased operations in July 2016. A search for a more permanent naming rights holder is currently underway.

• Per AP Sports: Burger King in Russia ran a promotion on social media offering a lifetime supply of Whoppers to any women who become pregnant by World Cup players. The offer was then deleted, In a statement Wednesday to AP, Burger King said, “We are sorry about the clearly offensive promotion that the team in Russia launched online. (It) does not reflect our brand or our values and we are taking steps to ensure this type of activity does not happen again.”

• The PGA TOUR has signed a deal with Facebook to distribute exclusive Saturday and Sunday live competition coverage, on a free basis, from eight tournaments leading into the FedExCup Playoffs for the 2017-18 season. Airing on Facebook Watch in the U.S., coverage begins at the Travelers Championship on June 23-24. Other events in 2018 include: Quicken Loans National; A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier; John Deere Classic; RBC Canadian Open; World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational; Wyndham Championship; and The Northern Trust.

Under Armour Ready To Unveil Jerseys, Gear, Activation At NBA Draft Combine

May 9, 2017: The NBA Draft is scheduled for June 22, and there will be endless hours of player evaluation between now and then to help teams determine which incoming athletes may best help their immediate and long-term future.

First up is the NBA Draft Combine with first-year title partner Under Armour, which plans an activation takeover similar to its strategy at the NFL Scouting Combine.

NBA Draft Combine Powered by Under Armour includes more than 65 undergrads who appearance is by invitation only. The event will take place in Chicago’s Quest Multisport May 11-12.

Predicted top draft picks including Markelle Fultz (Washington), De’Aaron Fox (Kentucky) and Jayson Tatum (Duke) have accepted invitations, but others, such as Lonzo Ball (UCLA) have not.

To highlight the new NBA Draft Combine partnership, Under Armour — the event’s new official outfitter — has unveiled a line of NBA Combine Apparel, with draft prospects taking the court in exclusive player apparel and accessories this week

The line features all 30 NBA team logos on Under Armour product for the first time across men’s, women’s and youth apparel and accessories.

Under Armour said the NBA Combine Authentic Collection would be available in Fall 2017.

Products include jerseys, T-shirts, hats, shorts and sweats.

In addition, Under Armour said it would "seed special-edition Combine Athlete Recovery Sleepwear to the prospects" and a red-and-white colorway of the Curry 3ZER0.

Select apparel pieces will be offered exclusively at the Under Armour Chicago Brand House for the duration of Draft Combine.

According to Under Armour, "These pieces represent what consumers will see in the NBA Combine Authentic Collection from Under Armour, beginning this fall."

ESPN2 will televise the NBA Draft Combine powered by Under Armour May 11 and May 12 (3-7 PM ET).

ESPN will also cover the 2017 NBA Draft Lottery presented by State Farm (May 16) and the 2017 NBA Draft (June 22), the latter in Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY.

ESPN said its ESPN2 telecasts would include "whip-around coverage from strength and agility drills and the four scheduled five-on-five scrimmages throughout Thursday and Friday."

ESPN3 will carry six surround feeds (no-step vertical leap, maximum vertical leap, pro lane agility, ¾ court sprint, pro lane shuttle drill and scrimmages) on both days. The 2017 NBA Draft Combine will also be streaming via WatchESPN and the ESPN app.

Under Armour’s activation during the NBA Draft Combine also includes:

• Jr. NBA presented by Under Armour will team up with Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality (RISE) and the Union League Boys & Girls Club to tip off a Bridges Through Basketball program "to improve the health and wellness of our shared communities in Chicago."

• Engagement with local youth in "constructive conversation using basketball as the vehicle to positive change."

• The first Jr. NBA Youth Basketball Leadership Conference, scheduled for May 12, will include coaches, administrators and other basketball leaders to discuss the state of youth basketball and how the game can be improved at the grassroots level.

Speakers are scheduled to include Mike Brey, Kenny Atkinson, Frank Martin, Fran Fraschilla, Swin Cash and Shane Battier.

• NBA analyst Doug Collins and his son, Northwestern basketball coach Chris Collins, will host "Chalk Talk" on May 13 at the Under Armour Chicago Brand House (for media and select members of the public).
