• Puma, which is rebooting its hoops division with the signing of potential top NBA draft picks Deandre Jordan and Michael Bagley III to shoe deals, said it has named producer/musician/businessman Jay-Z as president of basketball operations. The company said it has been working with Jay-Z run Roc Nation “for quite some time.” In addition, Hall of Famer Walt "Clyde" Frazier, a Puma partner for its first signature shoe in the 1970’s and long-time endorser, has signed a lifetime contract with the shoe brand.

• Panini America has signed an exclusive autograph trading card memorabilia agreement with All-American point guard Trae Young, a projected Top Ten pick in this week's 2018 NBA Draft. Young led the nation in both scoring (27.4 ppg) and assists (8.8 apg) during a his freshman season with the University of Oklahoma.

• Xyience said it would be an official sponsor and the official energy drink for the 2018 International Champions Cup presented by Heineken, a premier  occer tournament featuring top clubs and players from Europe. The ICC runs from July 20- Aug. 7 and includes 17 matches played across 14 U.S. cities. (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and SiriusXM.) Sponsors also  include Heineken, Ally, Hertz, MasterCard, Gatorade, Konami and Vivid Seats.

NBCU Giving Winter Games Full Cable Coverage On NBCSN, CNBC, USA Network

November 6, 2017: The Olympics are all about inches, yards, miles and final scores.

NBCUniversal’s exclusive coverage of the 2018 Winter Games is all about minutes, hours and days, with live broadcasts that will encompass more than 450 hours, including ten days of “wall-to-wall 24-hour coverage,” on its cable networks NBCSN, CNBC and USA Network.

NBCSN will serve as the cable home of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, for the first time showing live prime-time coverage of a Winter Olympics, airing nearly every night throughout the Games

The NBCSN total will be 368.5 hours of coverage, including ten days of wall-to-wall 24-hour coverage and such gold medal finals as hockey, snowboarding, short track, luge and bobsled.

CNBC will present 46 hours of coverage, also "highlighted by its popular evening curling telecasts” as well as hockey over 12 days, Feb. 12 through Feb. 23.

USA Network will have curling and hockey as part of its 40.5 hours of live programming.

NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app “will provide authenticated live streaming of all NBCSN, CNBC and USA Network coverage.”

Coverage of the Winter Olympics begins on NBCSN on Feb. 7  (11 PM ET) — two days before Opening Ceremony – with a live braodcast of mixed-doubles curling (making its Olympic debut).

For the Winter Games, NBCU estimates ad sales to top $935 million.

Revenue for the Olympics in PyeongChang is at low “double-digits” percentage revenue gains from the mid-$800 million level of the 2014 Sochi Winter Games.

NBCUniversal owns the U.S. media rights on all platforms to all Olympic Games through 2032.

Top-tier International Olympic Committee partners include Alibaba Group, Atos, Bridgestone, Coca-Cola, Dow, GE, Intel, Omega, Panasonic, Procter & Gamble, Samsung, Toyota and Visa.
