New Marketing Partnership Helps NFL Feel The Grill Of Victory

You don't have to be a Saint to grill.April 12, 2010: The NFL is bringing the tailgate party and backyard BBQ to another level via a new deal with Team Grill. The alliance gives Team Grill the rights to NFL team logos as well as playoff and Super Bowl badges from prior and upcoming games. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Team Grill said it would feature NFL marks on its Patio Series MVP ($1,249), Patio Series Pro ($799) and new Patio Series Game-Day ($499) grills. The Team Grill Patio Series MVP ($1249), All-Star ($999) and Pro ($799) are now available. The Team Grill Patio Series Game-Day ($499) and Tailgate Series ($399) will be available at retail in May 2010.
Support initially will include print, POP and Internet such as Twitter and YouTube.
The first teams featured on the Team Grill lineup will be the Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, New York Giants, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Redskins. Team Grill’s NFL grills also include medallions to commemorate each team’s Super Bowl victories or conference championships.
Additional teams are expected to be available later this year., including the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints. Team Grill already has deals with the NBA and numerous college teams.
Team Grill products are sold through select retail outlets, including specialty BBQ stores, outdoor living stores, and through online retailers including Teamgrill.com, Amazon.com and Sears.com.
