Red Sox Sign Spicy Sponsor In Qdoba Mexican Grill

June 23, 2009: The Boston Red Sox have signed a three-year marketing deal with Qdoba Mexican Grill making the fast-casual chain the team's official Mexican restaurant. Financial terms were not disclosed. Under terms of the agreement, Qdoba will receive "significant exposure" in Fenway Park, including scoreboard advertising promoting Qdoba’s 18 New England-area locations and concessions throughout the stadium; and the rights to use the Boston Red Sox official trademark and logos in-store and in-market throughout the baseball season.Qdoba, which opened in 1995 and has more than 400 locations nationwide, is a division Jack in the Box, Inc.
Other Red Sox sponsorship deals include JetBlue, Comcast, Bermuda Dept. of Tourism and the Connecticut Lottery. “The Boston Red Sox are proud to welcome Qdoba Mexican Grill to our family of corporate partners,” Sam Kennedy, evp and chief sales and marketing officer for the team, said in a statement. “Qdoba has been a great supporter of our sport and will be an excellent partner for the club.
