July 9, 2019: Shaquille O’Neal is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and, if it existed, would be a member of the Investment And Endorsement Hall of Fame.

O’Neal’s newest alliance is a multi-year deal with Epson to support the brand’s EcoTank printers, which feature “cartridge-free printing with easy-to-fill, supersized ink tanks.”

In addition to multi-media marketing, the alliance will launch "Epson and Shaq Give Back," an initiative in collaboration with Communities In Schools intended to “provide a suite of technology products, including EcoTank printers, interactive projectors and scanners, to many schools across the country.”

O’Neal will be featured in a multi-platform effort, including digital — "Epson and Shaq Join Forces" — social media and print.

"Between family and work, life keeps me pretty busy," O'Neal said via Epson.

"I'm always on the lookout for products that make everyday tasks quick and easy so I can focus on the things that matter most. Epson simply offers the best printing and home technology out there.”

Among his endeavors, O’Neal endorses and/or has investments and/or licensing deals including Ring, Papa John’s, Krispy Kreme, Gold Bond, Icy Hot, The General insurance, Carnival Cruise Line, Macy’s, Zales and Arizona Beverage.

He takes in excess of $30 million annually just from endorsements, according to industry analysts.

He also has his own social media empire: More than six million followers on Facebook, nearly 15 million on Twitter.

"Shaq's fun and dynamic personality engages a wide variety of fans and customers from around the world," Keith Kratzberg, president and CEO for Epson America, said via the company.

"His energetic approach to life, outstanding business acumen and passion for technology make him the perfect partner for Epson. We look forward to working with him to generate excitement around our products and deliver greater value to our customers . . . “

According to Epson, the partnership between CIS and the "Epson and Shaq Give Back" program will "ensure more schools gain access to the technology tools they need to help their students stay focused, motivated and moving forward."

"Epson and I share the same passion for education and giving back,”  said O’Neal.
