Shaq Finds Betting Is A Team Sport With WynnBet, Ben Affleck, JLo's Mom

August 30, 2021: WynnBET, the online sports betting and iGaming app from Wynn Resorts, today launched a multi-media campaign starring Shaquille O'Neal, actor Melvin Gregg, Ben Affleck (who also directed the spots) and the mom of actress Jennifer Lopez.
Affleck is a strategic consultant with WynnBET, according to the company.
The effort coincides with the NFL today unveiling deals with Fox Bet, BetMGM, PointsBet and WynnBET to become “approved sportsbook operators” for the 2021 NFL season.
These agreements make all four operators eligible to purchase NFL in-game commercial units and other select NFL media inventory.
The NFL also has sports gaming deals with FanDuel, DraftKings and Caesars Entertainment.
The full WynnBET ad campaign, anchored by a two and a half minute spot, “Betting Is A Team Sport,” includes TV, digital, social media, within Wynn Resorts and on the WynnBET app and social media platforms.
The tag line: “We all want to win, right? Let's win together. Because betting is a team sport.”

Jennifer Lopez’ mom, Lupe Rodriguez (pictured), has a cameo role in the extended spot.
WynnBET said it has integrated the Wynn Rewards program into its online sports betting and iGaming platforms.

WynnBET is available in Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Tennessee and Virginia; with the online sportsbook set to launch in Arizona on Sept. 9.
