All You Need Is Glove: Steiner Sports Scores Deal For The Beatles Collectibles

May 18, 2016: Already known for offering collectibles, memorabilia, artifacts and other items linked to such active and legendary players as Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Rob Gronkowski, Barry Sanders and Kobe Bryant, Steiner Sports is now aligned with a group that had a roster of iconic hits and filled stadiums and arenas with their scores: The Beatles.

Steiner Sports Marketing has signed a deal with The Beatle’s Apple Corps Ltd. to release a line of licensed Beatles Wall Art featuring the likenesses of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

The initial offering in “The Beatles Collection” includes discography collages celebrating their U.S. and U.K. albums, respectively; and stretched canvases representing both group images and album covers, including the classic Abbey Road.

“As both a sports and music enthusiast all my life, I am at once delighted and enthusiastic that not only is Steiner Sports now a part of the legacy of this most iconic and historical brand, but that we will now be able to bring unique products and memories to so many Beatles fans moving forward," Brandon Steiner, founder and CEO for Steiner Sports Marketing, said in a statement.

As part of its efforts, Steiner Sports said it would commemorate notable upcoming Beatles anniversaries, such as the August 1966 release of Revolver; and a collection in 2017 that celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the iconic Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Steiner Sports will sell The Beatles Collection through its own Web site and established Beatles vendors.

In addition, the company said it is preparing to expand the brand into the company’s high-end digital and brick-and-mortar distribution channels.

The deal was brokered by Bravado International, The Beatle’s North American licensing agent.

“I believe that our greatest strength in this new venture will be in our product development efforts where we will be significantly expanding an already extraordinary product line," said Steiner.
