October 30, 2017: In January 1993, Bill Clinton was sworn in as the 42nd President of the U.S., Super Bowl XXVII was won by the Dallas Cowboys and the halftime star was Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” was No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and WWE’s Monday Night Raw made its debut on Jan. 11, 1993 from the Grand Ballroom in New York’s Manhattan Center on USA Network.

Monday Night Raw has become, according to WWE, the longest-running, weekly episodic program in U.S. prime time TV history.

On Jan. 22, 2018, the 25th anniversary of Monday Night Raw will emanate from Barclays Center in Brooklyn and Manhattan Center and air live on USA Network (8 PM EST).

For its silver anniversary, WWE said that its stars present and past would come out to celebrate.

WWE Superstars from both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live will be at Barclays Center, while the event at Manhattan Center, the site of the first episode of Raw, will feature both WWE Superstars competing and special appearances by WWE Legends, including special appearances by WWE Legends Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash.

In its 25-year history, Raw has helped to launch the careers of such stars as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Undertaker, Triple H, John Cena and The Bella Twins.

"Monday Night Raw continues to be a 'must-stop' for celebrities to reach WWE’s TV audience and its more than 825 million social media followers.”

Monday Night Raw is one of the most-watched, regularly scheduled programs on cable, airing live every Monday night on USA,” according to WWE. “Each week, it is rated one of the most socially active shows and continues to be a 'must-stop' for celebrities to reach WWE’s TV audience and its more than 825 million social media followers.”

“We look forward to celebrating this unmatched milestone with our fans around the world,” Vince McMahon, WWE chairman and CEO, said in a statement. “But 25 years only marks the beginning of WWE surprising, delighting and entertaining generations to come,”

Tickets will available for each event starting Nov. 3 through all Ticketmaster outlets.
